Heliski Holiday, one of the world’s leading heliski tour operators, based in British Columbia, has noted a shift to advance booking of heliski trips and is advising those considering a heliski trip to plan ahead. The company works individually with clients to choose the best heliski option for them from hundreds of possibilities provided by dozens of heliski operators.
“Overall, skier visits throughout the heliski industry in remained very strong with many of them booked pre-season. Pre-season bookings are not new to the industry, prior to 911 heliski enthusiasts needed to secure package dates far in advance. There seems to be that same momentum developing and it would not surprising to see
this trend to be the norm once again. I have found, over the years, it is never to early to begin the process of working through the decisions that will eventually lead to securing an early reservation.” said Heliski Holiday’s Nina Kaufman.
“Every season brings us new experiences both in the way of guests and skiing conditions, and for the most part both are beyond our control. Exchange rates can heavily effect where our guests come from and while we do our best to operate in an environmentally conscious manner it doesn't always mean we have perfect snow conditions and blue skies day in day out. This year was no exception we have been thrilled by record levels of guest satisfaction and some truly epic skiing conditions”.
said Mike Watling, General Manager of TLH Heliskiing.
