Hi Everyone,
I am looking to go snowboarding sometime in the next few months with some friends. Most of us have not been snowboarding before so we are looking for a resort suitable for beginners. Can anyone recommend some good resorts in France?

Try Montgenvre. We are back there for a second time at Christmas - there already is good snow there. There are good open spaces for boarders - my daughter is a boarder and she rates the area highly. The night life is quieter than some resorts but there are onr or two lively bars and some good restaurants. If you progress well try L'Aigle lift which lifts you up to a run down to Italy (Claviere) there is a great Italian Restaurant on the way down. Enjoy
