Spruce Peak is home to some great intermediate and beginner skiing. The ski school operates here for early intermediate and beginner skiers. The ski school also offers classes for more advanced skiers but they would tend to be on Mount Mansfield.

Both mountains have snow-making equipment to ensure that you can ski the full vertical even late into the season. There are also a large area of the slopes on Mount Mansfield that are flood-lit giving Stowe the largest and most high-altitude night skiing in the New England Area.

Last but not least, Stowe is a haven for cross-country skiing. There are over 200 km of perfectly maintained trails on hand to satisfy even the most avid of cross-country enthusiast.
