Intermediate skiers have plenty to keep them occupied as well when on ski holiday in Squaw Valley with 63 intermediate runs to explore around the area. Some of the best intermediate ski runs are Mainline, Siberia Express and Gold Coast which allow you to try your hand at some intermediate level bowl skiing. There are also five tree-runs to be explored on Shirley Lake Express.

Expert skiers on holiday in Squaw Valley will particularly enjoy the KT-22 Peak. Apart from the spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada, the skiing here is truly awesome. Funnily the name of the peak is derived from the amount of kick-turns the first skier took to descend the impressive west face; Kick Turn - 22, KT-22. The west face is now named 'Moseley's' in honour of local gold-medal hero Jonny Moseley. Moseley's is home to the best of Squaw Valley's double black diamond skiing.

When descending Moseley's you find yourself faced with huge moguls and bumps for the full length of the ski descents. There are also some intermediate level runs on KT-22 such as the Saddle runs that can be accessed by the Saddle Traverse where you head west from the peak.
