All lower altitude trails are serviced by Serre Chevalier's snow making fleet of over 300 hi-tech snow cannons, ensuring skiing is available on your last minute ski holiday at lower altitudes even late into the French ski holiday season.

Intermediate skiers have a whole host of opportunities on a last minute ski holiday in Serre Chevalier. Whether cruising along some of the trails (up to 10 km long!), or snaking down the mountain on one of the 44 reds that litter the resort. Skiers can also ski at Montgenèvre, a neighbouring cheap ski holiday resort which lies on the Italian border, and have the possibility of skiing cross-country (quite literally) into Sestrière in Italy.

Advanced skiers have a choice of 16 blacks in the resort including the fast Olympic Luc Alphand route and LeBez which has a great mogul section. There are also a huge amount of off-piste opportunities available for skiers looking for something a bit different.
