Last Minute Ski Holidays In Marmot Basin - Long Gentle Runs

The lift served areas are brilliant in Mamont Basin but so are the off-piste areas off the back of the resort. Some of the real gems can be found powder skiing in the high alpine bowls and down through the trees around the Knob Chair. Many powder enthusiasts would recommend Dupres Chutes and Charlie's Bowl as the best areas for some serious powder skiing.

There was a 40% increase in the amount of upper bowl skiing in the '03/'04 season when two new bowls were added to the skiing on Eagle East. The bowls named Birthday Bowl and Sugar Bowl. Marmot Basin also invested heavily in extensive tree removal so that it opened up more open skiing.
