Keystone Ski Holidays - 'Discovery Slopes' for the beginners
Keystone is one of America's and the world's highest resorts. With skiing up to 3,720 metres and natural resort altitude of 2,850 metres you are guaranteed snow all throughout the long season. Keystone is made up of three mountains that recede back from the resort and go into the Arapaho National Forest.
The highly developed area of Keystone is on the front face of Keystone mountain. The area is flood-lit to allow for night skiing and there is also a board park and some dedicated beginner terrain. This area is ideal for beginners as it provides the perfect environment in which to learn the basics away from the intimidation of the major pistes. There are also 50 beginner runs on this mountain alone to explore once you get your confidence up, including the longest run in the resort, the 5 km Schoolmarm. The beginner slopes are aptly named 'The Discovery Slopes'.
