It is recommended you are very fit to do this gruelling 8 km descent.

Skiing from the summit of the Grand Montets at 3,275 metres right down to 1,230 metres is possible, in incredible 2,045 metre vertical! The world record for most vertical in a day was set here when Mark Jones skied 51 descents, a total vertical of 64,000 metres in one day! That is an example of the level of skier that comes to this exceptional cheap ski holiday resort.

Another sector that is very well regarded is the famous L'Aiguille du Midi which has a phenomenal 22 km descent off-piste into La Vallée Blanche, a guide is highly recommended for the long trip with a vertical of around 1,500 metres.
