On snow adventures include snowshoeing and dog sledding. On the ice there's skating, curling and ice climbing; in the air - hang gliding and paragliding. Indoor options include a swimming pool and ice rink complex in Lanslevillard, yoga and Qi-Gong. Visits are organised to the co-operative dairy to see traditional cheese making and there are several museums - one dedicated to the Baroque influence in the area, the other to local art and history. Indeed cultural activities remain a strength of the area with theatre, other stage productions and festivities a major draw.
