Known as probably the friendliest ski area around, the Wildkogel Ski Arena has been a popular venue for many years. And when you add to that what is likely the longest toboggan run in all the world, the Ski Arena gets to chalk up yet another record-setting highlight. But before you hit the hill, grab your sled and hop aboard the Wildkogel Lifts for a leisurely ride up to those lofty elevations above. At this point, all that's left is a quick 15-minute walk towards the Wildkogelhaus and the start of the toboggan run - then off you go! You'll be zipping down a course that's the better part of 14 km in length, dropping some 1300 meters on its way back down to Bramberg. If it slides over the snow, then it's allowed - be that a speedy racing toboggan, a comfortable sled, or even a fancy bobsled. The ride takes approx. 30 - 50 mins., depending on how good you are. You can rent out toboggans, sleds or bobs from the sports shops in Neukirchen or Bramberg.
