With more than 75 restaurants to choose from Val d'Isère once again offers something for everyone, including fast food and regional specialities. 1789 is a good choice for the latter, whilst La Table de l'ours is the only restaurant that has a Michelin star and one of the ten or so choices for gourmet cuisine.
International tastes are catered for by Bananas, serving Mexican, Ruitor for more unusual Scandinavian menus and Chez Paolo or Casa Scara for Italian Cuisine (Val d'Isère is right on the Italian border after all).
