Eating out in Big White

Big White has a great range of eateries including Swiss, Greek and Chinese establisahments on top of the North American staples. The gondola takes you down to the Kettle Valley Steakhouse and Wine Bar which is an "elegant but relaxed" option for steak, pasta and local Okanagan wines. The Swiss Bear in Chateau Big White is open from breakfast to dinner and serves European fayre includingf cheese fondues. The White Crystal Inn also offers European styled fine dining in De Montreuil's dining room. The restaurant upstairs at Snowshoe Sam's has a big stone fireplace, rough hewn log interior and good views out over the village. Coltino's in the Das Hofbrauhaus complex specialises in Italian. For Greek try to Powder Keg Grill in the Inn at Big White. The Chinese Laundry and Lounge has a delicious Chinese buffet for both lunch and dinner. Elsewhere around the resort you can pick up freshly made sandwiches, hot soup, homemade cookies, pizza, ice cream and fast food at a variety of cafes and coffee shops.
