Eating out in Argentière

There are several dozen restaurants around Argentière so you don't need to go far unless you have some very specific requirements not catered for locally (like a curry, Mexican or Sushi - all available down the road in Chamonix, although the Office does some Mexican). If you're happy with Savoyard and alpine specialities however you'll be spoilt for choice. Le Dahu is particularly popular for its raclettes, fondues and French cuisine. If you're hankering after something a little more Italian (Italy is just over Mont Blanc after all) then Chez Luigi is the place for pizza and pasta.. With over 100 restaurants and eateries to choose from, there is something for everyone's taste in the Chamonix Valley. The options range from Michelin Guide-rated gourmets' delights to fast food outlets. Popular choices include La Cantina for Mexican and the atmospheric converted barn, L'Impossible. La Bergerie is good for local dishes.
